Harvey is an accomplished percussionist who has been playing drums for over twenty years, percussion instruments, keyboards and guitar for fifteen years. He also writes music and lyrics and arranges music.
For the past fifteen years Harvey has played in several bands playing clubs, weddings and private parties in the New Jersey, Pennsylvania and New York areas. He also performs as a solo act playing rock/pop/folk music using guitar and keyboards with vocals. Background parts, drums, bass, brass, etc., have been prerecorded in his Korg 01/W sequencer. He also performs instrumental standards along with the sequenced music on a MalletKat, an electronic vibraphone, which is MIDIed to the Korg.
Harvey graduated from Trenton State College in 1987 with a BA in music performance.
