Harvey Minchin - Solo Performer

As a professional musician, I play percussion instruments (drums, marimba, vibes, timpani, etc.), keyboards, guitar and I sing. I also write and arrange music. I have experience performing live and in the recording studio. I have a Korg 01/W which has a great sequencer that I use all the time for recording and live performances.

When performing live as a solo act, I use my Korg O1/W keyboard as my sequencer. For many jobs requiring instrumental music, for dinner, etc., I play my MalletKat - which is like an electronic xylophone which I MIDI to my synthesizer to produce a variety of sounds - such as vibes, marimba, trumpet, flute, etc. I also play my Roland Digital Piano, Ibanez 6-string Acoustic Guitar and Martin 12-String Acoustic Guitar. I do a variety of styles of music from instrumental standards with the MalletKat to rock/pop/folk with vocals.
